Wolfram Christ returns to Japan this week to conduct the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra in a Brahmsian programme including his Tragic Overture, Symphony No. 2 and an arrangement for Strings by Ian McPhail of Brahms’ String Quintet Op. 111.

Having first conducted the Kansai Philharmonic at short notice this will be the third time Wolfram conducts the orchestra in four years.
