Claire has recently performed two Rossini heroines for Welsh National Opera – Rosina ‘Il Barbiere di Siviglia’ and Elcia ‘Mosè in Egitto’ – as well as La Comtesse in ‘Le Comte Ory’ for Chelsea Opera Group. She also received enormous critical acclaim for her performance of Janacek’s Vixen for Garsington Opera, and of Poulenc’s one-woman opera ‘La Voix Humaine’, again for WNO.

Claire is renowned for her innovative and creative performances, such as Netia Jones’ ground-breaking production of Kurtag’s ‘Kafka Fragments’ for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. She regularly collaborates with the Nash Ensemble and with leading composers Oliver Knussen and Ryan Wigglesworth.

Upcoming highlights include concerts at the Plush Festival in Dorset and at Stockholm Concert Hall, performances in Japan with Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, and Romilda in Handel’s ‘Serse’ for Early Opera Company alongside Hazard Chase singers Edward Grint, Callum Thorpe and Anna Stéphany in the title role.
