Matthew Halls appears for the first time in New York on 16 August taking the Lincoln Center podium for their annual Mostly Mozart Festival.
In a programme including two Shakespearean overtures; Mendelssohn’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and Beethoven’s Overture to Coriolan, Matthew Halls and the festival orchestra are joined by Joshua Bell for Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4. They finish the programme with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8.
Halls returns to the Lincoln Center later in the season with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg as part of their United States tour.
