This vocal consort was formed in 2014 and is directed by conductor/composer Owain Park. St John’s Smith Square Young Artists in the 2015-16 season, they already have over 50 public performances under their belt. Whilst the group’s primary focus is early music, they are passionate about contemporary repertoire and in 2016 successfully curated their first composition competition. The Gesualdo Six’s first recording will be an album of English renaissance polyphony, due for release in late 2017.
