Albert Herring, Britten’s classic depiction of English village-life is coming to the 2017 Grange Festival. John Copley’s production will feature both Adrian Thompson (Mr Upfold) and Kitty Whately (Nancy) with performances taking place on 25th, 29th of June, 1st, 7th and 9th of July.

The chamber-opera is set in the fictional town of Loxford in East Suffolk where we see young Albert break free from the control of the small-town mindset and discover the delights of young women and alcohol.
