7th and 9th July Sholto Kynoch accompanies two unique programmes at the Wigmore Hall, exploring Schubert songs for both male and female vocal ensemble, as part of the Wigmore Hall 2016/17 series, Schubert: The Complete Songs.

On 7th July Sholto can be heard in an evening performance alongside a female-voice ensemble that includes Louise Alder, Katherina Ruckgabe, Katie Bray, Anna Huntley and Bethan Langford for a series including Psalm 23, Gott! Höre meine Stimme and Wiegenlied.

On Sunday 9th July Sholto is joined by Ben Johnson, Nicky Spence, Ben Appl and Stephan Loges for an afternoon recital of works for all male-voice ensemble including Trinklied, Das Lied vom Reifen and Geist der Liebe. Both programmes explore a mixture of textures with some solo and duet performances alongside the works for ensemble.

Prior to the performances, Sholto can be heard alongside Stephan Loges and Anna Huntley on BBC Radio 3 InTune on Wednesday 5th July at 16:30, discussing the recitals and performing live on air.
