We are delighted to announce that contralto Jess Dandy has joined the Hazard Chase vocal roster.
Winner of the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform 2018 and the London Bach Society Singers Prize 2017, Jess studied at Trinity College, Cambridge and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she held a fellowship and graduated with distinction. She is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and Heidelberger Frühling Scholar, and has given recitals at the Holywell Music Room, Wigmore Hall, Pierre Boulez Saal and Heidelberg Stadthalle. Jess has appeared with the Monteverdi Choir, the King’s Consort, Le Concert d’Astree, Polyphony and the Gabrieli Consort and has sung Mozart Requiem at St Martin-in-the-Fields and Berlioz Romeo et Juliette at the Barbican and Salle Pleyel with the LSO and Valery Gergiev.
