This week sees conductor Pedro Neves return to regular collaborator Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto at the Casa da Música for a programme of Mozart’s Six German Dances, Strauss’ Don Juan and Tchaikovsky’s popular Fifth Symphony. The first concert is on Friday 18th May, and the symphony will be repeated in a lunchtime concert on 20th May, with commentary by Mário Azevedo.

Noted for his versatility in style and the breadth of his repertoire, Neves returns to Porto next month for a contemporary programme with the Casa da Música’s renowned Remix Ensemble.
