Grant Llewellyn and The North Carolina Symphony Orchestra tour North Carolina with a programme of American orchestral music and a world premiere of William Brittelle’s ‘Si Otsedoha (We’re Still Here)’, in which they are joined by the Cherokee Chamber Singers. Brittelle’s composition is inspired by the words of the Cherokee community, bringing the voices of the Cherokee Youth to centre stage.

These significant collaborative concerts begin in Raleigh on October 12th & 13th at Meymandi Concert Hall, continuing onto Wilmington on October 14th and Cherokee Central School’s Chief Joyce Dugan Cultural Arts Center on October 18th, before concluding the tour in Boone at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts on October 19th.
