Masaaki Suzuki reunites with RIAS Kammerchor for performances in Tokyo with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra and in Kanazawa with Ensemble Kanazawa.


Suzuki conducts a programme of Mendelssohn, Kraus and Mozart at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall on October 26th and at Kanazawa’s Ishikawa Ongakudo Concert Hall on November 1st, placing Mendelssohn’s seldom performed ‘Christus’ alongside the large-scale setting of Psalm 42. He will be joined by soprano Lydia Teuscher and tenor Makoto Sakuruda for both performances.
