Hazard Chase is delighted to announce worldwide general management of pianist Zlata Chochieva.

Zlata’s recent recordings of works by Rachmaninov and Chopin have gained her wide recognition amongst critics and audiences; the disc of Chopin Complete Etudes was selected as an Editor’s Choice in Gramophone, and included in their list of 10 greatest Chopin recordings: «It is certainly one of the most consistently inspired, masterfully executed and beautiful-sounding versions I can recall.» (Jeremy Nicholas, Gramophone).

In the 2018/19 season, Zlata will give her Wigmore Hall debut in March 2019, in a programme of Rachmaninov, Chopin, Liszt and Scriabin. She will perform in Moscow with the Svetlanov State Orchestra at Tchaikovsky Hall, and with the National Philharmonic of Russia at Rachmaninov Concert Hall. Furthermore, she has been invited to perform twice in the Serate Musicali series in Milan, and will also give recitals around Russia, the US, and Europe. In the previous season Zlata was named a Gilmore Rising Star in the US.

Originally from Moscow with Ossetian roots, Zlata became a protegée of Mikhail Pletnev. She graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory in 2012 and moved to Salzburg to study with Jacques Rouvier at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg where she was appointed his assistant in 2013.
