Violinist Hyeyoon Park makes her debut appearance with the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, with concerts on 13th and 14th November. The programme draws on references from the film world, featuring John Corigliano’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra (created from his score of the film “The Red Violin” and for which he received an Oscar) and John Williams’ haunting theme to “Schindler’s List”. Mozart’s “Jupiter” Symphony completes the programme, which will be conducted by the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker’s Chief Conductor, Dan Ettinger. This also forms part of the orchestra’s #HEIMAT concert cycle, which presents nine programmes across the season around the idea of homeland.
