Tenor Daniel Norman will sing Monostatos in a revival of Simon McBurney’s The Magic Flute at English National Opera. Conducted by Ben Gernon, Daniel will sing alongside Brindley Sherratt as Sarastro, Lucy Crowe as Pamina, Rupert Charlesworth as Tamino and Thomas Oliemans as Papageno.
The production will open on 14th March and run until 11th April. Following performances of The Magic Flute Daniel will travel to Tel Aviv and Hungary for performances of The Golden Dragon with Israel Contemporary Players, and this summer will make his debut as Captain Vere in Central City Opera’s production of Billy Budd in Colorado.
