Stepping in for an indisposed Juanjo Mena, conductor Matthew Halls conducts 3 performances of Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Halls has been a regular visitor to the orchestra with previous concerts in 2013, 2015 and 2017 featuring repertoire ranging from Handel’s Messiah to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, as well as an all-Mozart programme. The concerts take place at the Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto on Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th and Saturday 20th April 2019.
