Conductor and harpsichordist Masato Suzuki makes his debut at Edinburgh International Festival this week performing alongside musicians from the Dunedin Consort, directing from the keyboard. The concert features Bach’s Concerto No. 7 in G minor and Concerto No. 1 in D minor as well as his solo Italian Concerto and takes place at St. Cecilia’s Hall in Edinburgh on 16th August 2019.
This winter sees an exciting disc release for Suzuki, who has recorded the first volume of Bach’s Harpsichord Concerti together with Bach Collegium Japan. The disc will release on BIS in December 2019.
