With an upcoming debut recital at the Wiener Konzerthaus and an ‘Artist in Focus’ residency with the Sinfonieorchester Aachen, Zlata Chochieva looks to have an exciting 2019/20 season ahead.
The Russian pianist begins her ‘Artist in Focus’ residency this September with a series of concerts in Aachen and Hulst playing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Sinfonieorchester Aachen. In the New Year, she will perform twice more with the orchestra, playing Liszt’s Malédiction in February and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in April 2020.
On the 23rd October, Chochieva will make her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus with a lunchtime recital. Programme to include pieces by Bach, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Bizet, arranged for solo piano by Rachmaninoff, Liszt and Horowitz.
