Having had great success in the role with Theater Regensburg recently, Sinéad Campbell-Wallace returns to the role of TOSCA, this time in the revival of Anthony Besch’s 1980 production with Scottish Opera.  Stuart Stratford conducts the orchestra & chorus of Scottish Opera with Gwyn Hughes Jones (Cavaradossi) and Roland Wood (Scarpia).

Theater Regensburg: September 2019
“The undisputed star of the evening, however, was quite rightly Sinéad Campbell-Wallace. Her Tosca vibrated with sensuality, intensity and violence that almost seemed to frighten her. The vocal scale ranged from softly placed pianissimi through a well-articulated middle voice to an electrifying top that resonated powerfully in the space – outstanding.”

Sinéad will sing the following performances with Scottish Opera:
Friday 18th October: Theatre Royal, Glasgow
Saturday 2nd November: His Majesty’s Theatre, Aberdeen
Thursday 7th November: Eden Court Theatre, Inverness
Thursday 21st November: Edinburgh Festival Theatre
