December, a busy month for all choral conductors, sees Sofi Jeannin travel to her homeland of Sweden to make her debut with the Norrköpings Symfoniorkester. Joined by soloists Hanna Husahr, Maria Forsstrom, Sven Hjorleifsson, and Jakob Hogstrom, Sofi will conduct two performances of Handel Messiah at De Geerhallen, Norrköping and Linköping Concert & Congress Hall.

Upon returning to the UK, Sofi Jeannin will resume her position as Chief Conductor of the BBC Singers, for their annual carol competition, in conjunction with Radio 3. This will be followed by Sofi conducting the BBC Singers in a programme of contemporary Christmas carols, on Friday 20th December, at Temple Church, London. You can find out more about this special concert HERE.

To bring in the New Year, Sofi travels to Liverpool, to make her debut with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, conducting their annual Handel Messiah project on the 4th January 2020. Here she will be joined by such acclaimed artists as Jeanine De Bique, Jennifer Johnston, Oliver Johnston and William Thomas. More information on this date, and ticket availability, can be found HERE.

Sofi then leaves Liverpool to fly straight to Porto, where she returns for another project with the wonderful Coro Casa da Musica. Here she will lead them in a French programme of Villette, Poulenc, Ravel and Debussy.
