Tenor Peter Hoare will make his debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic this month, reuniting with conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen and director Simon McBurney in a semi-staged programme of music associated with the Weimar Republic.

Entitled “Weimar Nightfall: The Seven Deadly Sins”, Peter joins the LA Phil and special guests at the majestic Walt Disney Concert Hall for four performances between 13-16 February.  The programme includes Paul Hindemith’s “Murderer, Hope of Women”, in which Peter sings the role of 1st Soldier, alongside Kurt Weill’s “The Seven Deadly Sins” and “Berlin Requiem”.

He will join Simon McBurney once again this summer as the Hauptmann in a new production of Berg’s Wozzeck at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.
