Renowned Japanese period intrument ensemble Bach Collegium Japan take up residency with their director Masaaki Suzuki at the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht next week. Their concerts will include  works by Kuhnau, Zelenka and Bach’s Magnificat. Shortly afterwards, the ensemble make a return visit to Musikfest Bremen, where last year Suzuki  received the Musikfest-Preis Bremen given annually since 1998 to internationally recognised artists, who have particularly enriched the Festival’s programme.
