She first heads to Canada where she performs Prokofiev Violin Concerto No.1 on 29, 30 & 31 October with Kent Nagano and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal in Ottawa and Montréal.
Joining forces with the Taiwan Philharmonic (NSO), she then embarks on a European tour conducted by their Music Director Lü Shao-Chia. Playing the Sibelius Violin Concerto, she appears in the Salle Gaveau, Paris on 9 November, the Sala Verdi, Milan on 11 November, the Teatro Nuovo, Udine on 12 November and the Berlin Philharmonie on 18 November.
On 16 November she appears with Susanna Mälkki and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra during their 2013 Composer Festival (Tonsättarfestivalen) celebrating the works of Unsuk Chin; Viviane premiered the Violin Concerto in 2002 with Kent Nagano, subsequently also recording it with him, and has since made this work very much her own.
During these busy weeks, she also finds time to visit the Auditorio Nacionale, Madrid on 8 November to play Bach Solo Partitas No.2 & 3.
