Join us for a Gala Evening of Beethoven at the prestigious Royal Festival Hall on 13th January 2015! This charity concert promises to be a wonderful musical evening with all money raised to be donated to Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity working to support those affected by this dreadful disease.
The Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Michael Collins, who is both a Hazard Chase client and PCUK Ambassador, will perform an evening of Beethoven – his Triple Concerto, featuring three outstanding young Hazard Chase artists: violinist Callum Smart, cellist Laura van der Heijden and pianist Julian Clef, alongside his Symphony No. 9 (Choral). The latter will feature the Philharmonia Chorus along with a vocal quartet including two further Hazard Chase clients (Natalya Romaniw and Anne-Marie Owens).
The concert will be recorded by Classic FM, to be broadcast in full a few days after the event. Pancreatic Cancer UK will also be running a substantial online auction on their website leading up to the night of the broadcast.
