On 6 & 8 March, Grant Llewellyn conducts performances of Mendelssohn’s Elijah, the first of three oratorios performed by H+H as part of its Bicentennial year. Elijah was premiered in Boston by H+H in 1848 and Llewellyn, a former Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Society, will doubtless bring a celebratory touch to this masterpiece.
