Martin Roscoe and Peter Donohoe have been playing together as a piano duo since their student days. Their easy communication and impressive virtuosity have earned them great respect as they have toured some of the most prestigious festivals and venues across the UK. Their recordings include a Gershwin disc, selected as Editor’s Choice in Gramophone magazine, and a critically acclaimed CD of Rachmaninov’s works for two pianos.

Over the years, the duo has built up a strong relationship with Bridgewater Hall where past engagements have included numerous performances as part of various festivals and residencies, including Martin’s own ‘Associate Artist’ birthday concerts in 2012, as well as several BBC broadcasts. Throughout the UK they have appeared at a host of prestigious festivals including Bath Mozartfest, Edinburgh and Spitalfields festivals, as well as at venues such as Kings Place, London, The Sage Gateshead, and Glasgow’s City Halls.
