Martin Roscoe and Peter Donohoe
Representation: General Management
Martin Roscoe and Peter Donohoe first formed their piano duo in student days. Their recordings include a Gershwin disc, selected as Editor's Choice in Gramophone magazine, and a CD of Rachmaninov's works for two pianos, reviewed in February 2007's BBC Music Magazine as "a remarkable achievement".
Their frequent engagements at the Bridgewater Hall in the past have included BBC broadcasts as well as a performance as part of the international festival Piano 2003. Their festival appearances include regular performances for the Bath Mozartfest, returning in 2008 for an all Mozart programme, and performances of Messiaen's Visions de l'Amen at the prestigious Edinburgh and Spitalfields festivals. The duo's future plans include a BBC recital and UK tour of this monumental work in 2008, marking the 50th anniversary of the composer's death.
