In celebration of their 30 years working together at Bang on a Can, co-artistic directors Michael Gordon, David Lang and Julia Wolfe are collaborating to create Road Trip – an evening-length work with lighting and projections – for the Bang on a Can All-Stars to perform in 2017. The piece will be about journeys and the people who make them. Physical journeys, geographical journeys, emotional journeys and spiritual journeys. There is a road, but it is no simple highway.
