Carl DavisIn a career stretching back over 30 years, Carl has composed for film and television, including the BBC's Pride & Prejudice, The Snow Goose, ITV's Good Night Mr Tom, The World at War and Hollywood Series, together with feature films such as The French Lieutenant's Woman, Scandal and Topsy Turvy.  He has written scores for numerous musicals and ballets and is currently orchestrating his score to Cyrano de Bergerac, working with the choreographer David Bintley, Artistic Director of The Birmingham Royal Ballet for premiere in February 2007. He recently arranged Handel's See the Conquering Hero Comes, modernising and transforming it into Sports Prepare, the theme tune for BBC TVs 2006 World Cup coverage. In 2005, Carl was awarded the CBE (Hon.) for the significant contribution he has made to music as both composer and conductor over the years.
