Hazard Chase Artists nominated for Gramophone Awards
Robert Hollingworth and I Fagiolini, and Matthew Halls and Retrospect Ensemble have been nominated for the coveted Gramophone Awards.
I Fagiolini and Robert Hollingworth have been shortlisted for a coveted Gramophone Award in the ‘Early Music’ category; their thrilling historical discovery of Striggio’s Mass in 40 Parts, recorded for Decca, has won world-wide praise.
Retrospect Ensemble and Matthew Halls are nominated for a second year running, this time in the ‘Baroque Vocal’ category, for Bach Easter and Ascension Oratorios, their second disc for Linn Records.
