It has been confirmed that violinist Jennifer Koh will make her Proms debut this summer, in a late change to the festival's schedule. Koh will join the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Jiri Belohlavek to give the UK premiere of Augusta Read Thomas' Third Violin Concerto, "Juggler in Paradise". Only the second performance of this work, Koh replaces Frank Peter Zimmermann who gave the world premiere in Paris at the start of this year.
