Jennifer Pike debuts with English Chamber Orchestra
Hazard Chase Violinist Jennifer Pike will make her debut with the English Chamber Orchestra on Wednesday 14 May at Cadogan Hall. Booked at just five days notice, she replaces Augustin Dumay to play Mozart Violin Concerto No.3, which she last performed in London at the Barbican's Mostly Mozart Festival last summer. Jennifer last appeared at Cadogan Hall earlier in May, when she performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra under Bramwell Tovey. Her plans this summer include recitals at the Harrogate Festival and for the BBC from Town Hall Birmingham, in addition to a performance of Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales under Richard Hickox, with whom she will also make her Philharmonia debut in July, playing Bruch.
