Jennifer Pike performs world premiere
Jennifer Pike appears in St. Andrews with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Enrique Mazzola to give the world premiere of Haflidi Hallgrímsson’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra Op 46. In a series of three concerts, Pike will also perform the concerto in the Queen’s Hall Edinburgh on the 8th December and at Glasgow City Halls on the 9th December.
Jennifer will also be taking the concerto to Hallgrímsson’s homeland, giving a performance of the concerto in March 2013 with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Baldur Bronniman.
