Masaaki Suzuki joins Hazard Chase
A leading authority on the works of Bach, the distinguished conductor and scholar Masaaki Suzuki is the Founder and Artistic Director of Bach Collegium Japan, building up an outstanding reputation not only at home in Asia, but also throughout Europe and the USA.
Now over halfway though his recording project of the complete Bach Cantatas on the BIS label, he is turning his attention to other repertoire and guest conducting both period ensembles and modern instrument orchestras such as the Boston Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic and the Zurich Tonhalle.
Masaaki Suzuki combines his conducting career with his work as organist and harpsichordist.
