Viviane Hagner joins Hazard Chase

Well established on the international concert platform, Viviane Hagner combines a rare virtuosity and musicality in all her performances, whether in recital, chamber music or concerto;  typical comments from critics include ‘poise and magnificent assurance’ (The Times) and ‘a spine-chilling recital, an almost hauntingly masterful display of technique and artistry’ (Washington Post).  This season her concerto appearances take her to cities including Dresden, Hamburg, Madrid, Montreal, Tokyo, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich, while recitals and chamber music have brought her to Berlin, Lisbon and London.  She is featured this summer as Artist-in-Residence at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.

Next season’s highlights include performances the Chicago and St Louis Symphony Orchestras and another visit to Tokyo to join the NHK Symphony Orchestra, together with recitals in London, Paris, Salzburg, Tokyo and Washington.
