Alix graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011 with a joint honours degree in German and French. Her final year German dissertation was an analysis of reports in the German and Israeli press surrounding the Israeli Chamber Orchestra’s performance at the 2011 Bayreuth festival.
As a keen flautist and pianist from a young age, Alix has played in many ensembles over the years, and during her time at Leeds was a member of the Music Society where she played in the Sinfonia Orchestra.
Keen to put her language skills into practice, Alix moved to Berlin after graduating where she worked as a translator before moving into the world of music management. After interning at Hazard Chase’s Berlin associate, Ekkehard Jung Artists & Projects, Alix was delighted to join Hazard Chase’s Cambridge team in August 2013 as an Assistant Artist Manager before becoming a Project Manager in 2014. Alix became an Artist Manager in 2016 and now works with instrumentalists.
