Laura graduated from the University of York in 2014 with a first class degree in music. Throughout her time at university, Laura did as much singing as possible, mainly focussing her studies on the performance practice of early music and solo voice ensemble singing. As well as being a member of many musical societies, choirs and small ensembles, Laura was proud to represent the University as a member of the women’s football club, first team. Since graduating, Laura has continued to perform regularly as a freelance singer and, before joining Hazard Chase in January 2016, she had a brief stint working within the telecommunications industry. She is now delighted to be working as an assistant artist manager, amongst fellow musicians where she feels most at home.
