European Tour
Bach Collegium Japan and director Masaaki Suzuki celebrate the occasion of the box-set release of their complete cantata recordings with a major twleve date concert tour of Europe, which sees the group give performances of Bach’s MASS IN B MINOR and MAGNIFICAT as well as other works. London’s Barbican Centre plays host to the ensemble’s first major UK residency – a series of three concert’s spread across two days – and the tour includes three debuts for the group at Vienna’s Konzerthaus, Dublin’s National Concert Hall and St Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall alongside re-invitations to Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris amongst others. British Soprano Joanne Lunn features as soloist in all twelve concerts.
