This week sees Garrick Ohlsson, Benjamin Grosvenor, and Olli Mustonen perform at ‘Chopin and his Europe’ Festival in Warsaw.

Ohlsson starts by performing a chamber concert alongside the Apollon Musagete Quartet and double bassist Slawonir Rozlach performing Schubert’s ‘Trout’ Quintet.

Both Ohlsson and Grosvenor then join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Grzegorz Nowak with the Paderewski Piano Concerto and the second movement of the Elgar Piano Concerto.
Grosvenor then closes the festival with a performance of Chopin Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra with Jacek Kaspszyk conducting.

Also joining the festival is pianist Olli Mustonen, collaborating with Sinfonia Varsovia under the baton of Jose Maria Florencio for his first performance of the Paderewski Polish Fantasy for Piano and Orchestra Op. 19.
