Viviane Hagner journeys to Portland to perform with the Oregon Symphony Orchestra on January 26th, 27th & 28th. She performs Unsuk Chin’s Violin Concerto (of which she is the dedicatee) under the baton of Markus Stenz at Arlene Schnitzer’s Concert Hall in Portland. The programme also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Schumann’s Symphony No. 3.
Hagner then continues on to Sarasota, where she joins conductor Clark Rundell and the Sarasota Orchestra for a programme including the French showpieces Saint- Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso and Vieuxtemps’ Violin Concerto No.5 in A minor. The concerts take place at Bradenton’s Neel Performing Arts Centre on January 31st and Sarasota’s Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall from February 1st to 3rd.
