Clark Rundell has returned to Melbourne for a consecutive year to conduct the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. He will conduct the orchestra as part of their Metropolis New Music Festival which consists of two concerts featuring Australia’s and the world’s finest living composers.
The 2nd May programme is:
Conyngham – One Small Step
Mazzoli – Sinfonia (for Orbiting Spheres)
Koehne – Capriccio
Wolfe – The Vermeer Room
Andriessen – Miserere
The 4th May programme is:
Holdsworth – Cri de coeur
Vincent – Forever Singing Winter into Spring
Andriessen – Vermeer Pictures (arr. Clark Rundell)
