Elizabeth Llewellyn will sing her latest Puccini role in Opera Holland Park’s new production of Manon Lescaut, directed by Karolina Sofulak, with Peter Robinson conducting. Elizabeth will sing alongside Paul Carey Jones as Lescaut, Peter Auty as Des Grieux and Stephen Richardson as Geronte di Ravoir. Opening on 4th June, performances will run until the end of the month.

Firmly established in the repertoire of Puccini, her previous roles include Cio-Cio San Madama Butterfly, title role, Tosca, Mimi La Bohème, Magda de Civry La Rondine, title role Suor Angelica and Giorgetta Il Tabarro.

Elizabeth opens her 2019-20 season with a performance as Bess Porgy & Bess at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, followed by her debut as Aida in Theater Bielefeld, Germany.
