On 20th December, we are delighted to announce a new collaboration between the Brodsky Quartet and The Gesualdo Six at Kings Place, London.

This collaboration is part of the Venus Unwrapped concert series at Kings Place, focussing on showcasing female composers throughout history. As part of this theme, this collaboration explores the works of celebrated composer Roxanna Panufnik, and features new arrangements of several of her works: Modlitwa; O Hearken; and O Tu Andzej.

The Brodsky Quartet have a long association with ‘the voice’, having worked with singers such as Diana Baroni, Jacqui Dankworth and Dawn Upshaw. As such, performing with The Gesualdo Six feels like a very natural progression for the quartet. The programme will also feature a composition from Owain Park, the director of the Gesualdo Six, entitled “Phos Hilaron”.

The concert will be held at Kings Place, London, on Friday, 20th December at 7.30pm. For more information, and to book tickets, please click HERE.
