Hazard Chase is delighted to welcome the internationally renowned pianist Andrew von Oeyen to the roster for general management. Hailed worldwide for his elegant and insightful interpretations, balanced artistry, and brilliant technique, von Oeyen has established himself as one of the most captivating pianists of his generation.
Extending his interpretive voice to a broad spectrum of repertoire, von Oeyen has garnered great recognition for his collaborations with such ensembles as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony, Saint Louis Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Mariinsky Orchestra, PKF-Prague Philharmonia, New Japan Philharmonic and Singapore Symphony, among others.
He has appeared in recital at many of the leading international venues, including Wigmore Hall and Barbican Hall in London, Lincoln Center in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Boston’s Symphony Hall, Zürich’s Tonhalle, Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Hall, St. Petersburg’s Philharmonia, and in every major concert hall in Japan and South Korea.
A highly celebrated recording artist, Andrew von Oeyen has recorded for the Warner Classics label since 2016. In 2020 he releases a new solo album, following other recent releases including Debussy’s Fantasie for Piano and Orchestra (2018) and an album of concertos by Saint-Saëns, Ravel and Gershwin (2017).
A graduate of The Juilliard School and an alumnus of Columbia University, von Oeyen made his debut at age 16 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the direction of Esa-Pekka Salonen.
