Alexander Liebreich makes his debut later this week with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra in Moscow. The concert, which takes place on Friday 7th February in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, will see Liebreich conduct Schubert’s Fifth Symphony alongside Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, for which he is joined by soprano Julia Lezhneva. Later in February Liebreich is back in Russia, returning to conduct the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra at the Grand Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. The concert, on Friday 28th February, will feature Beethoven’s First Symphony and Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche as well as Schumann’s Cello Concerto with soloist Alexey Massarsky.
