Hazard Chase is delighted to announce exclusive representation of the Temple Church Choir. Having worked closely with them on a number of projects, notably including all aspects of the major John Tavener commission “The Veil of the Temple“, Hazard Chase will now have a wider agency and consultancy brief, working closely with the Director of Music, James Vivian, and the Master, The Rev. Robin Griffith-Jones. The Choir is one of the finest in the United Kingdom and is based in one of the most famous and beautiful churches in London, 800 years ago, the regal chapel to the Knights Templar. Slightly more recently, the church and choir enjoyed great fame and prestige when in 1926 Ernest Lough and Sir George Thalben-Ball recorded their now legendary performance of Mendelssohn’s “Hear my prayer”/”O, for the wings of a dove“. Very recent highlights include performances in the BBC Proms, Lincoln Center Festival and City of London Festival.
